Happiness

No one looks happier than when Sarah Beth sits on her knees and pats her thighs.  She just looks completely happy and content with life.  I'm so glad that she does it pretty often.

Candyland

What fun the two big girls had playing Candyland at church today! Sarah Beth was able to reap the benefits even though she couldn't go because she was sick. She had her very first sucker when the girls got home.

Sweet Sixteen

Annie and Emma love to go to the girls' state tournament with Tim.  Wednesday Annie was able to miss school and spend all day with him there.  She had a great time.  So much fun that she cried on the way home because she wanted to go back the next day.  She did get to go back Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.  So did Emma.  They got to sit in one of the  private boxes with the nice cushy seats and food catered in.  It was a great time for all three of them.

Wednesday afternoon Tim and Annie left for a few minutes to get out between sessions.  They were headed to Chick Fil A to use a coupon on the back of their tickets.  I was talking to Annie and said that maybe Emma and I would use the ones on the backs of our regional tournament tickets.  Annie quickly responded telling me that this was her and Daddy's time and we just needed to stay at home.  I assured her that we would not interfere!

The funniest thing though happened that night.  There is a ramp outside of the sky boxes that leads down to the restrooms.  Annie had gone by herself, and Tim was waiting for her at the top of the ramp.  When she got back, she was dying laughing.  He asked her what was so funny, and she just continued to laugh.  He said, "Did you go in the mens' restroom?"  And she said, "Yes, and I didn't realize it until I cam out and saw the stand-up toilets!"  Luckily there was no one in there because she went into a stall and used the restroom before ever realizing where she was!  Crazy, sweet girl!!

Ball party

I brought the ball party down from the attic today for Sarah Beth to play with. She caught right on and really likes it. But it wasn't long before the big girls remembered how much fun it is...

I asked Annie not to do something. She did not stop. Emma said, "Mommy specifically told you not to..."

Is a mess! She loves taking a big girl bath. But if she isn't throwing her toys out of the tub...



Then she has decoded it is fun to leeeaaan waaaay over and dip her forehead and hair into the water.



I don't particularly care for either! But I sure do love this girl!!
